It is to be noted that last Sunday Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, while talking about the quota, commented Why is there so much anger about the liberation war? The grandchildren of freedom fighters will get nothing, the grandchildren of Razakar will get everything?

Quota reform activists were furious with the Prime Minister’s comments. They assumed that they were called granddaughters of Rajakar. Therefore, the students of various educational institutions, including Dhaka University, started the movement from Sunday midnight to demand the withdrawal of the Prime Minister’s comments and one-point demand for quota reform.

That movement is still going on. On Wednesday, the protesting students blocked roads and railways at various places outside Dhaka and Dhaka. BGB has been deployed in 6 districts including the capital Dhaka from Tuesday evening to control the overall situation.
